Symptoms

 

The signs of schizophrenia are different for everyone

  • Symptoms may develop slowly over months or years, or may appear very abruptly
  • The disease may come and go in cycles of relapse and remission

 

Common Clinical Symptoms (Click on the link to read more)

  1. Positive Symptoms: Hallucinations, delusions, disorganized communication
  2. Negative Symptoms: Social withdrawal, affect flattening, avolition
  3. Cognitive Symptoms:Poor attention and concentration, memory problems, executive impairment
