
Outcomes
The outcomes that PREP works to achieve on a client level are as follows:
- Greater adherence to treatment regimens
- Reduced positive symptoms (hallucinations, delusions, thought disorders, etc.)
- Improved negative symptoms (cognitive functioning)
- Increased capacity to manage symptoms in daily life
- Increased family involvement
- Lower stress and trauma for client and family
- Reduced incarceration, homelessness, and emergency hospitalizations
- Increased levels of employment and/or academic advancement
